The famous television network G4TV presented in their gaming X-Play series an interview with Dustin Browder and Chris Sigaty. In the interview, Sigaty mentions that they are now prepared to open the game to a larger audience, confirming suspicions that the Beta will most likely start shortly after the beginning of 2009. In addition, Browder said that Blizzard retains the right to change anything throughout the Beta process. Gratitude goes to 3echelon for bringing up this video.

I know some of you have been bugging for this for quite a while, so I finally decided to do it. You can now donate resources to other members! You can donate by going to a users profile and clicking the donate button or while reading a topic, clicking the little green arrow next to each users resources.
Ive also fixed quite a few little bugs here and there, mainly in the search. Hope you guys enjoy this feature!
A while after releasing the first Battle Report, Blizzard sneakily released 3 new screenshots and a wallpaper!
You can really notice the different lighting effects on each tileset, the unit colors become completely different. The middle screenshot even appear to be taken during the night on the desert tileset. That means dynamic Day and Night cycles in the editor probably, woot!
