Challenge Information:

How to Join & Play: (I'm going to try and recompress the video tutorial see if it works)
- Create an account at Fragged Nation
- Join this ladder: "SC2 Armory 1v1 Ladder . Season 2"
- Password is gosuladder
- Challenge someone (pick 3 dates and times)
- Play your game
- Report results
- Challenge again (or be challenged)

Regarding Timezones:
- Remember that the armory has members all over the world.
- Timezone to use is standard GMT (London). Make sure you talk to your opponent and agree on a proper time for both.
- Bear in mind the time differences so you don't miss your match. Example: if you live in the US East Coast (GMT -4), and the match is setup at GMT 4:00pm, that means that your match would be at 12:00pm your time. If you, however, live in France (GMT plus1), then the match would be at 5:00pm your time.

Communicating with your Opponent:
If you wish to communicate with your opponent, go ahead and use the Match Comm tab under "Challenge" to send messages, or you can just PM him through the Armory or Hamachi.

Waiting & Rescheduling Games:
- By default, games are scheduled 3 days ahead of time.
- However, if you wish to play right away you can play even on the same day, report, and be done with it.
- If you wish to make it official, you can always request a "schedule change" after the challenge has been accepted. Your opponent needs to agree for this to take effect though.

Where to Play your Games:
The recommended way to play is to PM your opponent and pick one of the 4 Ladder Hamachi Servers, created exclusively for this:
SC2A Ladder Network 1
SC2A Ladder Network 2
SC2A Ladder Network 3
SC2A Ladder Network 4

- Password for all networks is gosuladder
- Note: networks will be cleaned every week to ensure there is enough room for everyone.
- Duplicate joining, or people not part of the Armory and it's ladder will be inmediately removed.
- For questions regarding Hamachi use this guide.
- Alternatively Battle.net can be used instead, but your opponent must agree to this.

Forfeits and Inactivity:
- A player is entitled to 48 hours to accept a challenge.
- Forfeits requested before 48 hours will not be considered unless both players express it via Match Comm or a direct PM to Bloodwolf (Admin).
- Overdue challenges will be processed as forfeits if this is requested, and will be deleted after 2 days.
- Players with more than 2 forfeit loses will be toggled as Inactive.
- Inactive players wanting to play need to request deactivation via PM to Bloodwolf (Admin).

Feel free to post your questions or comments in this thread, and hope you guys enjoy Season 2! :)

Final Comments:

Well guys, what can I say? This was a very fun and awesome 1st Season, which I consider as a short, test season more than anything else.

Since Season 1 has ended, the ladder will remain locked until the start of Season 2, which should be in a few days. Inactive players will get deleted automatically by the system, so if you signed up and were deactivated, you are going to have to sign up again.

Next season will bring a number of positive changes, like a point-based system (instead of a rung-based one which works kinda odd), more maps, and a longer season!

Hope you guys enjoyed it and hopefully we'll start dueling again soon! :)

BattleReport, Mothership, Infestor Info from Cavez

A demanding post from a user on the Battle.net forums actually yielded results today...

My demands WILL be met.
1. Battle report 2 within next wekk.
2. New Beta contests (I have a thread up about this)
3. An update about some Protoss Air
4. Some info about general Beta times (Your current target motnh would be fantastic)

Now, having just realised I can`t actually make you do anything if your not actually working, I will ask nicely. Please Cavez!!!! We love you!!! xD

1. It's a Terran vs. Zerg game. I promise nothing on what week it will come out. You must continue to suffer and wait.
2. I don't know much about these.
3. We have Void Ray, Phoenix, Mothership, Carrier, Warp Prism, Observer. Mothership moves slowly, can teleport to any Protoss building, can do huge damage to a single target with Vortex and cloaks everything nearby on the ground (including buildings). Mothership is build-limit-one. This is done primarily for balance reasons. You use her as a base defense that can be anywhere you want in a flash. Sometimes you push into an enemy base with her. Testing on her remains a pain because she is so high-tech we don't see her in a lot of games. Right now she is reasonably cool, but we are not in love with her yet.
4. I cannot.

Please discuss.

Cavez also posted some new info about Infestor's moving Burrow...

Can infestors move under buildings?
No, they cannot move under buildings. The ground is too compacted from the weight of the structure and the Infestor cannot tunnel through. Even Protoss Pylons make everything really hard to move through because a strong magnetic force from the Pylon makes the ground beneath it nearly impenetrable by mortal means.

It's not really practical for the gameplay. You get "units inside units" if the the Infestor could hide under structures which is never a happy place to be. Selection gets difficult, targeting becomes challenging, etc.
